O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, even as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye may ward off (evil). (Al-Baqarah : Verse 183)The things I wanna share is about the word "Tattaqun" which meant by "Al-Muttaqin".. What is meant by "Al-Muttaqin"? Allah S.W.T had explained to us what are the characteristics of "Al-Muttaqin" in Al-Quran as follow:
This is the Scripture where of there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil). Who believe in the Unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them; And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful (Al-Baqarah : Verse 2-5)
- People who believes in the Unseen
- People who perform Solat
- People who give away wealth that Allah gives to them
- People who believes in The Book (Al-Quran)
- People who believes in the day Hereafter
Therefore, let us check ourselves whether we have those characteristics or not..Let us use the full opportunity to gain our iman and increase our ibadah..InsyaAllah...
