.:: Original Version of Sunnah Berjuang ::.

Alhamdulillah..I've juz finish eating my sahur juz now..emm..quite sad coz diz is da 1st sahur without my family with me..After finishing my Subuh prayer, I've thinking about listening a Nasyid which for me, the Nasyid had once make me feel strong..feel like I'm gonna go for a battle..let me share diz nasyid with all of u..The original version of Sunnah Berjuang..

Berjuang Menempah Susah,
Menanggung Derita Menongkah Fitnah,
Itulah Gelombang Hidup Samudera Duka,
Seorang Mujahid Memburu Syahid.

Dibuang Dia Berkelana,
Dipenjara Dia Uzlah Dibunuh Syahid,
Namun Jiwa Tetap Mara Menuju Cita,
Membara Demi Allah Dan Rasul-Nya.

Berjuang Tak Pernah Senang,
Ombak Derita Tiada Henti,
Tenang Tegang Silih Berganti,
Inilah Sunnah Orang Berjuang.

Malamnya Bagai Rahib Merintih Sayu,
Dihiris Dosa Air Mata,
Siangnya Bagaikan Singa Di Rimba,
Memerah Keringat Mencurah Tenaga.

Berjuang Memang Pahit,
Kerana Syurga Itu Manis,
Bukan Sedikit Mahar Yang Perlu Dibayar,
Bukan Sedikit Pedih Yang Ditagih.

Berjuang Ertinya Terkorban,
Rela Terhina Kerna Kebenaran,
Antara Dua Pasti Terjadi,
Tunggulah Syahid Atau Menang..

.:: Speak A Good Word Or Remain Silent ::.

Abû Hurayrah relates that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak a good word or remain silent. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.”

[Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]

The Ramadhan fever had once come again to us. Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah S.W.T for giving us another opportunity to train ourselves in the month of barakah n rahmah, Ramadhan. Therefore I would like to share only a simple thing but with a big rewards n effect. The thing is just care of our words. Only speak a good word or better keep silent. Some time we didn't notice that our words can hurt someone's heart. If our body being slice by a knife, it can still recovered. But how about a bad word?? Just think about it..

Recently, a research that had been conducted by a Japaneese scientist, Dr. Masaru Emoto had found that water molecules will react on our daily conversations. He had wrote many books of the effect of words on water molecules such as The Hidden Massages In Water, The Spirit Of Water, Messages of Water For Your Emotions and many more. In the research, he had found how a water molecules react on certain good and bad words such as love and peace, arrogance of people and many more. He also stated that words are the biggest destructive as many disasters are the reactions of our daily conversations.

Loves and Gratitude

If we say bad words, all of us knows that we could not see the effect. But our conversations forms millions shapes and types of water molecules that we can't as it is invisible. But the molecules travels as a destructive waves in ourselves and also in the ocean. If Allah gives us the opportunity to see the moving waves,  I believe, all of us will only talks good words every second in our lives.

In Al-Quran, Allah S.W.T had stated in Surah Al-Isra' :

Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.

(Al-Isra' : Verse 23)

In the above verse, Allah S.W.T ask us to say only good words to our parents and never say bad words to them. As we know, our body are 70% made of water. Just imagine what would be to ourselves when we speak bad word to our parents. That's the main reasons for many cases of childrens who treats their parents as their servants.

Allah had ask us to make friends with good persons as they will guide us and shape our attitudes especially the way of our conversations without us notice. Therefore, let us takes the opportunity given by Allah S.W.T during this month of training to change ourselves. I believe it would be easier for us to change ourselves as He takes out all Syaitan gives us with Angles to protect our spirit.

.:: Being Sincere In Islam ::.

As Muslims, Allah expects us to be sincere in following His religion. Allah has perfected His way for us and made religion simple to follow:

"Allah does not wish to place any hardship on you: He only wishes to cleanse you and perfect His blessing on you, so that you may be thankful." (Qur'an 5:6)

This means Allah has made the entire religion so that all of its teachings and values can be fully upheld without hardship on the follower.

"Today I have perfected your religion for you and chosen surrender [to your Lord]: Islam as your religion." [Qur'an 5:3]

For this reason, being a true believer means following all the teachings of the religion Allah communicates to us. If we correctly implement all the teachings of the Qur'an within us, and unite together as those who abide by the Quranic values, then Allah makes the believers strong and provides them with dignity in the world. Being the ideal believer is possible for a human being as Allah has made the religion He communicates through the Qur'an, such that it is possible to be the ideal believer. Allah states this as follows:

"Believers, enter fully into surrender to Allah." (Qur'an 2:208)

Many "Muslims" intentionally do not adhere to religion fully. They perform some parts of their duty, such as performing five daily prayers, and deliberately neglect some others which they say they should be doing. One major reason behind their behaviour is that some of their beliefs on what is required of a true believer are highly impractical and superficial and are not based on the true religion to begin with. What this means is that, Allah did not require them to do such and such, yet they impose it upon themselves and then do not perform it. With regard to these failures, they say, "it is better to, but not compulsory" hence do not make the effort or strive to implement them. There are many examples of such practices, couple of which are:

* wearing an Arab dress - these Muslims wear their own style of dress such as the western style, yet suggest that it is "better to" dress in a manner which Arabs do - i.e. they should really be dressed in a different manner to which they are dressed if they are to please Allah most (according to them).

* heavy clothing on women - many such women say it would be better to wear another level of clothing, but do not try to implement this, probably due to an understanding inside that such heavy concealment is both needless and impractical - yet they verbally say it would be "better to" dress in that way while being satisfied with their current way of dressing.

Such attitudes, where one can neglect the "better" aspects (even though not at all endorsed by the true religion i.e. is not from the Qur'an) indicates a lack of full faith and wisdom. This is because a full grasp and understanding of the Hereafter compels a true believer to implement all the aspects which would be 'better' for the Hereafter.

Though none of these practices are endorsed as desirable by the Qur'an by the least, the fact that such people can satisfy themselves with their belief indicates that they do not regard their Hereafter important enough to implement those 'desirable' teachings.

All this is actually a vicious cycle where a faulty understanding of religion keeps them in the loop of feeling that they can never be true believers (as those of the past whom they revere as the best Muslims) and thus it becomes a factor which helps to prevent them from fully submitting to Allah in the manner required by the Qur'an.

A believer who understand that his or her duty is to uphold all the teachings of the Qur'an is on a refined path. None of the teachings of the Qur'an imposes impracticality or beyond reasonable obligations as stated in a verse we mentioned earlier. For example, a believer may dress according to his or her culture and tradition, though modestly and this is absolutely fine. He or she will not claim that another way of dressing such as the Arab style is better while dressing differently, since it is not from the Qur'an. There is no element of his or her faith which is not implemented at any moment. As stated, this is because the Qur'an is a guide which can be fully implemented easily.

There are no commands in the Qur'an which the true believer will dismiss with dismissing remarks such as "it is better" and take up a self-satisfied attitude while not implementing them. This is why he is not a hypocrite in that he implements everything he says he should be doing or would be 'better to' as he has taken the Qur'an as a guide. Unlike the rest, he or she is fully loyal to religion, to every single advise of Allah. In many respects, this person has an easier lifestyle than the aforementioned types of people. Yet this person is more sincere and loyal in Allah's sight because he or she is aware of what is really required from them by the Qur'an and is implementing all its teachings. This is contrary to the one who follows a muddled religion with impractical burdens not ordered by Allah.

.:: Perjalananku di Intenational Islamic University Malaysia ::.

Assalamu’alaikum buat semua pembaca. Alhamdulillah, aku kini berpeluang balik untuk mengedit blogku yang dah lama aku tak edit. Kalau tak silap la, last skali edit time sebelum Ramadhan lagi. Banyak benda yang hendak dikongsi tapi masa tak mengizinkan.

Tanggal 23 Oktober yang lepas merupakan satu detik yang tak dapat aku lupakan apabila aku mendapat tawaran untuk melanjutkan pelajaran dalam bidang Asasi Ekonomi dan Sains Pengurusan di Pusat Asasi Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) ataupun lebih dikenali sebagai CFS (Centre of Foundation Studies) oleh student2 di sini. Pada keesokan harinya, aku telah mendaftar di Centre of Foundation Studies, International Islamic University Malaysia di Petaling Jaya. Aku hampir-hampir tidak percaya yang aku secara rasminya bergelar sebagai mahasiswa di universiti yang memang terkenal ini.

Selepas mendaftar, kami telah mengikuti program pengenalan selama 2 hari dan juga peperiksaan penentuan tahap kecekapan dan penentuan tempoh belajar kami di sini yang dikenali sebagai English Placement Test (EPT) dan Arabic Placement Test (APT). Pada hari ketiga, kami telah dibawa ke kampus tetap kami di Bandar Putra Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. Aku mula menanam azam untuk mencapai keputusan yang cemerlang di sini sekaligus memberikan aku peluang untuk menyambung degree di UIAM Gombak.


Keesokan harinya, aku telah mendapat satu lagi kejutan apabila aku telah dimaklumkan oleh salah seorang guru sekolah menengahku bahawa aku perlu pulang ke Pulau Pinang untuk menerima Anugerah Matapelajaran Terbaik SPM Sekolah-sekolah Menengah Aliran Agama Peringkat Negeri Pulau Pinang bagi matapelajaran English for Science and Technologies (EST). Seronoknya hati hanya Allah saja yang tahu. Lantas aku segera melakukan sujud syukur dan terus pulang ke Pulau Pinang. Lantas kuterbayang wajah emak dan bapaku. Betapa seronoknya mereka setelah menanti bertahun-tahun untukku menerima anugerah akademik setelah yang terakhir kuterima semasa di darjah 5 pada tahun 2003.

Pada hari berikutnya 28 Oktober, dengan hati yang berdebar-debar aku pergi ke Institut Latihan Perindustrian Pulau Pinang ditemani oleh emakku dan adik perempuanku. Aku telah menerima anugerah pencapaian terbaik bagi subjek EST peringkat negeri Pulau Pinang. Anugerah tersebut telah disampaikan oleh Pengarah Jabatan Agama Islam, Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia (KPM). Setelah menerima anugerah tersebut, aku telah ditemuramah oleh wartawan dan kemudian terus pulang ke rumah untuk bersiap-siap pulang ke UIAM.


Pada petangnya aku terus pulang ke UIAM dan berhasrat untuk mencapai pencapaian yang lebioh cemerlang di UIAM. Apabila pulang, aku sekali lagi dikhabarkan dengan berita gembira apabila aku telah mendapat keputusan level 6 yang merupalkan level tertinggi bagi English Placement Test (EPT) sekaligus menentukan tempoh asasiku selama setahun. Bangganya hati hanya tuhan sahaja yang tahu. Namun disebalik rasa gembira itu, terselit juga persoalan adakah aku mampu untuk mencapai kejayaan asasi dalam tempoh setahun sedangkan ramai kawan-kawanku yang mendaftar bersamaku perlu melakukan asasi selama setahun setengah dan juga dua tahun.

Namun, aku terfikir bahawa rahmat Allah tiada batasnya. Lihatlah berapa banyak rahmat yang telah Allah berikan dalam tempoh yang sekejap. Mula-mula aku mendapat tawaran ke UIAM setelah pening memikirkan halatujuku di masa hadapan. Dalam masa sehari, aku telah bergelar sebagai mahasiswa UIAM secara rasminya. 2 hari kemudian, mendapat anugerah yang amatku harap. Esoknya, mendapat keputusan yang cemerlang dalam EPT pula. Aku akhirnya memutuskan untuk belajar dan berusaha bersungguh-sungguh kerana usaha itu di tangan manusia. Natijahnya pula di tangan ALLAH.
